LSA Types:
Router LSA (Type-1) – This LSA lies within the Area, Have directly connected Links.
Network LSA (Type-2) – This LSA also lies within the Area, This is used in Multi-Access Network Types (where DR and BDR is used).
Network Summary LSA (Type-3) – This LSA gives you an information about inter-Area Routes. This LSA is generated in ABR.
ASBR Summary LSA (Type-4) – This LSA tells you how to reach the ASBR. This LSA is generated in ABR.
External LSA (Type-5) – This LSA gives you an information about the redistributed Prefixes.
Not So Stubby Area LSA (Type 7) – LSA used for special Areas.
